CANGGU
If learning about Indonesia's culture is what you're after, there’s no messing around, this is the place for you! Did you know that it’s home to two of the most famous temples in the country? We’re talking about the Royal Temple of Taman Ayun and Tanah Lot, which is only accessible by boat or by foot at very low tide. Not only that but here you’ll find yourself in what's best described as the ‘surfers paradise’ of Indonesia! From beginners to pros, there are waves for everyone. So spend your days riding those waves and your nights at one of our absolute favourites, Finns Beach Club ready to dance the night away with a Bintang or two in hand. Surfs up, you’re going to Caggu!
GILI ISLANDS
Where do we even start? Whether you want to chill, party or a mixture of both, the Gili islands are the place to go. There's not one, not two but three tiny little islands that will all provide you with different experiences you do not want to miss on your next trip to Bali. First up we have the party island of Gili T where you’ll spend your days snorkelling, cycling around and catching the sun down at the epic sunset swings before hitting the strip right on the beach. Sounds like a pretty epic way to spend the day right?
Next up, we have Gili Meno, the smallest of the three, which is best known for its beautiful beaches and sensational scuba diving spots. You can spend your time here relaxing, without a care in the world and visiting the Sea Turtle Sanctuary where you’ll learn all about the importance of these beautiful animals.
Last but not least, we have Gili Air, where (we’ve said it already, and we’ll say it again) exploring the underwater world of the island is a MUST! You know those underwater sculptures that you’ve probably seen hundreds of times on instagram? Well, this is where you’ll find them! Taking part in a local cooking class to learn how to make Indonesia’s national dish Nasi Goreng is also an experience you will definitely want to try!
UBUD
Enough monkeying around for now! It’s time to explore the Insanely beautiful Indonesian Jungle that is Ubud. Full of temples, terrace rice paddies, waterfalls, the tastiest smoothie bowls and of course, lots and lots of monkeys, this is the perfect place to wind down and let it all hang out. Start your trip nice and early to head out on a Mount Batur sunrise trek that will leave you lost for words. Continue by visiting the famous Tegenungan Waterfall which offers beautiful scenic views and swing straight into the next insta famous location in Jalan Raya Ceking where you’ll undoubtedly enjoy rice paddy views from high above...Do you see what we did there?
It doesn’t end here. You can’t miss a day trip to the famous sacred Monkey Forest where things get a little cheeky, to say the least...Spend your time feeding monkeys all day long and enjoy watching them hang out in their natural habitat but remember not to keep food in your bags because monkey business is REAL out there!
NUSA LEMBONGAN
Grab your GoPro because you're heading to Nusa where things can get a little bit wild.. If swimming with enormous manta rays, Mola-Mola sunfish and dolphins is on your bucket list then Mangrove Point is where your dreams will come true! And whilst you’re there, you may as well tick off yet another sensational spot which is Nusa Penida. Trust us...You won’t want to miss this one!
SEMINYAK
Known for its vibrant sunsets, lively beach clubs and quirky cafes that run along the beautiful coastline of Seminyak, this place is the ultimate destination if you’re looking for a hippy, trendy and buzzing vibe. Spend your days strolling through Oberoi Flea Market, visiting the famous Pura Petitenget Temple and enjoying the most stunning sunset chilling on a bean bag with a cocktail in hand.. un-Bali-vable!!
