Did you sleep ok? Course you did; last night wasn't that spooky! Today we're picking up the heat... No, seriously, we're kickstarting today with a truly unforgettable experience! Enjoy the morning ritual ceremony of the monks of Koyasan and if you fancy, you have to go to Goma taki; a ritual that involves writing down your wishes on wooden plates and placing them into the fire. This is believed to burn away their excess wishes and desires to achieve a simple, appreciative life. The fire is thought to destroy negative energies and purify the mind, body and spirit. We're then heading to our next stop, Kyoto! Before we head off, we have a traditional breakfast and learn more about this beautiful culture. In the late morning, we head to the bustling town of Kyoto! Home to the world-famous Gion - the Geisha district! I did a Tru Travels tour of Japan in…
I did a Tru Travels tour of Japan in May 24. Our guide Morgan was incredible and it was only on our last night that he revealed the tour was his first solo one. That really shocked me as Morgan’s knowledge of every city and Japans history was incredible. He is also fluent in Japanese which is a huge plus. He made the tour an amazing experience and I would highly recommend Japan with Morgan as my guide. Japan is a beautiful country with beautiful people and I would highly recommend this as your must do tour.

Awesome vibes
, perfect mixture of nights out and culture, great being able to split from the group and do what you like. Would have liked more history/cultural lessons on the places we visited and things we've seen. But overall just the best way to see Japan, unbelievable experience!
